A short history of OMG Indonesia

Key Milestones

1995

ActMedia Indonesia is established, becoming the first retail media partner for in-store advertising in Indonesia.

2010

OMG Indonesia is established as the parent company.

2011

DemoPower Indonesia is established as a retail media partner for in-store activation activities. Red Basket is established as our in-house creative and production agency.

2012

CPC Indonesia is established for shopper loyalty solutions.

2014

OMG Indonesia and our group of companies officially moves into our own office building at Grha Adhi Media Office Park. In the same year, ConnectMedia Indonesia is established for in-store advertising within alternative formats (mini-markets and traditional pasar).

2015

HotButton Indonesia is established as the in-house media agency at OMG Indonesia, connecting clients to all our solutions and services. HyperMedia Indonesia is established for in-store advertising within the Hypermart network.

2017

DirectMedia Indonesia is established for in-store advertising within premium retail stores.

2018

InventoryPrime Indonesia is established for retail import solutions for premium products.

2020

InAvi is established for audiovisual solutions.

2021 & onwards

OMG Indonesia invests in relevant digital companies including Oresa (online sampling), AdTones (dial-tone advertising), and DigiFlora (digital greetings platform).

Chairman

Ricky Subrata is a seasoned executive with nearly 30 years of leadership in advertising and retail. From 1993 to 2021, he served as CEO and Chairman of BBDO/Proximity Indonesia, part of the global Omnicom Group, where he led award-winning campaigns for top brands across Asia. As the Founder and Chairman of ShopComm, he continues to drive innovative marketing strategies, bridging retailers and brands through impactful campaigns and shopper engagement solutions.

Irwan Ardiansyah

President Director

​Irwan Ardiansyah is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in advertising, retail marketing, and financial services. As President Director of ShopComm Group Indonesia, he leverages his extensive expertise, gained from both client and agency perspectives, to develop effective omnichannel marketing strategies that drive engagement and growth for brands and retailers.
